Johnson & Perrott announced as one of Ireland’s Best Managed Companies
Johnson & Perrott Motor Group is proud to have been awarded the prestigious accolade of the Deloitte ‘Best Managed Company Award’ and commended for ‘Best Submission in the Strategy Category’.
The influential award and recognition for the Johnson & Perrott Motor Group, which is one of Ireland’s leading motor retailers, was announced at an awards gala on Friday, March 7th at the Burlington Hotel, Dublin. The Deloitte ‘Best Managed Award’, in association with Barclay’s Bank Ireland, recognises indigenous Irish companies nationwide which operate at the highest levels of business performance.
The Deloitte award and special commendation for Johnson & Perrott are the second award success for the Cork-based motor group in as many months, as the company was awarded ‘Cork SME Company of the Year’ by Cork Chamber of Commerce in early February.
CEO, Mark Whitaker, who is the sixth generation Whitaker to run the company, said recognition with the Deloitte ‘Best Managed’ and even more so the commendation for ’Best Submission in the Strategy Category’ were welcome recognition of the company’s strategic plan that sets out clear objectives for the future.
“We hope that the awards will have a positive impact on people’s perceptions of us as an organisation, whether they are customers, partners or potential new employees of the company. The awards are recognition of the wonderful contribution made by our staff, and we believe these Deloitte awards mirror our commitment to becoming a market leader across three main areas – as a motor retailer; in fleet management; and in light commercial vehicle rental.”
