Established in 1980, National Truck & Van Rental has accumulated extensive expertise in commercial vehicle hire over the years. As a part of the Johnson and Perrott Motor Group, we are excited to invite applications for a Valeter to join our Ballycoolin team.

Job Summary:

As a Valeter, you will assume a pivotal role within our Rental team maintaining and preparing vehicles for rental, including cleaning, refuelling, and ensuring they are ready for customers.

Responsibilities can also include ad hoc duties such as.

• Organizing the vehicle yard
• Collecting parts
• Assisting with general duties
• Delivering or collecting vehicles.

Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:

• Vehicle Detailing: You will be responsible for washing and valeting cars to the highest standards in accordance with our dealership's quality benchmarks.
• Quality Assurance: Collaborate with service team to inspect vehicles before customer handover, ensuring a seamless and exceptional customer experience.
• Stock Management: Maintain a well-organized inventory of cleaning materials to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vehicles according to Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and dealership requirements to meet our customers' expectations.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Friendly & flexible with a can-do attitude.
• Clean Class B Driving Licence (Class C would be an advantage but not a requirement).
• Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
