The Opel Crossland is powered by a range of advanced and efficient engines with four punchy petrol engines on offer, as well as two efficient diesel models.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine is available with two power outputs: a naturally aspirated 82bhp or a turbocharged 128bhp unit.
You also have the choice of two power outputs if you opt for the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, depending on which transmission you prefer. Accompanied with a 6-speed manual gearbox delivers a power output of 108bhp, whereas paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission produces 118bhp.
The petrol engines will return 56.5 to 61.4mpg on a combined cycle, whilst the diesel engines' fuel consumption ranges from 72.4 to 80.7mpg on a combined cycle.
With a bold, new design and all the advantages of a compact SUV, the Crossland will certainly appeal to a lot of people, especially families. The spaciousness of the interior, practicality of the loadspace, the advanced technology and the efficient engines are a recipe for a fantastic car.
