Job Summary: We are on the lookout for a high-calibre Electric Vehicle Technician that inspects, diagnoses, and repairs electric and hybrid vehicles.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Diagnose, service, and repair electric and hybrid vehicles in line with manufacturer and warranty standards.
- Safely work on high-voltage systems, including batteries, motors, and charging components.
- Carry out battery and drivetrain diagnostics, charging system repairs, and software updates.
- Perform routine servicing, preventative maintenance, and general vehicle inspections.
- Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and equipment to identify faults and complete repairs.
- Maintain accurate service records, job cards, and documentation.
- Follow all health, safety, and regulatory procedures, including high-voltage safety protocols.
- Commit to ongoing manufacturer training and development to stay current with EV technology.
- Deliver quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Qualified Technician: Fully qualified Motor Vehicle Technician with strong experience in diagnostics, electronics, and complex repairs.
- Problem Solver: Logical thinker with a methodical approach to fault finding.
- Tech-Focused: Passionate about staying up to date with evolving automotive technology, particularly hybrid and electric.
- Team Player: Flexible, organised, and able to work well with colleagues and customers.
- High Standards: Committed to exceptional quality, safety, and customer care.
- Driver’s License: Full clean driver’s license required.
- Communication: Fluent English.
