Job Summary: As a Payroll Administrator you will work as part of the HR team and be responsible for processing the weekly payrolls for the group.

Responsibilities:

As a payroll administrator, you will be trained to excel in the following areas:

• Processing weekly payroll for our three divisions.
• Verify and approve timesheets for accuracy.
• Address employee and manager payroll queries promptly, covering tax, holidays, and hours.
• Post monthly returns and payroll journals to our accounts system.
• Prepare Salary Certificates and other essential payroll documentation.
• Monitor Annual Leave and Sick Leave records.
• Generate Management reports as required.
• Manage employee benefit invoices (e.g., Healthcare, Tool Schemes, Cycle to Work).
• Maintain filing and personnel records.
• Provide clerical and HR support to the HR Manager.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• A Full Clean Drivers Licence is essential for this role.
• Strong attention to detail with administrative functions and presentation
• Strong Communication & Time Management skills
• Prior experience in a payroll role using Sage Payroll is advantageous.
• IPASS or an alternative payroll qualification is advantageous but not required.
• You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• A strong knowledge of MS Office products, including Excel.
