The CUPRA Formentor is a high-performance coupé crossover epitomising CUPRA DNA. Showcasing dynamic, sculptural lines and a softened front end the CUPRA Formentor embodies sport and sophistication with a lavish rear spoiler and integrated diffuser featuring four copper-lined exhaust pipes.
The sporty aesthetic is completed with machined 19” alloy wheels – available in copper finish – which houses the 18” performance Brembo brakes. The Formentor also benefits from a vast range of colour finishes to complement the design from four soft metallic paints (Urban Silver, Midnight Black, Magnetic Tech, and Candy White); three special paints (Graphene Grey, Dark Camouflage and Desire Red) as well as two matte paint options (Petrol Blue Matte and Magnetic Tech Matte).
Elevated design doesn’t stop there though. Continuing through into the expertly crafted interior cabin, you will find beautiful textures and fine copper detailing throughout, framing the air vents and steering wheel for a more superior finish. There are three upholstery options to choose from: Genuine Black Leather, Genuine Leather in Petrol Blue, or part-PVC part-cloth Textile. A look to the future.
As occupants enter the cabin the CUPRA logo is projected on to the floor via the puddle lamp. Once inside, both driver and passenger will be cocooned by high-quality materials, with dark brushed aluminium and copper accents making the cabin feel modern and contemporary.
Stay connected to the outside world with a new 12-inch infotainment system with integrated voice and gesture control. The immersive touchscreen provides access to the Full Link system, compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, so you can take and make calls, compose text messages, control your music, and navigate Google or Apple Maps.
Thanks to a new embedded eSIM card, CUPRA Formentor owners will also benefit from the CUPRA Connect app that brings online services such as remote access to vehicle data directly into the vehicle and on your smartphone.
Defy the elements come rain or shine with a host of all-weather technological upgrades. Ward off the winter cold with heated front seats and steering wheel, make the most of those sunnier days with an optional panoramic electric sunroof or master all driving conditions with auto wipers and headlights.
Embracing electrification.
Available with three high-performance powertrains, the CUPRA Formentor is ready to provide a unique driving experience as well as a kinder approach to the environment than ever before.
The ultimate expression of CUPRA’s performance promise will be the 2.0-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engine with 4Drive (4WD) technology, which provides a peak power output of 310PS and 400Nm of torque. Also available is the 1.5 TSI EVO petrol engine, which provides a peak power output of 150PS. Not only that… the Formentor is available in the form of a plug-in hybrid version. The 1.4-litre e-HYBRID DSG-auto petrol engine delivers a total 245PS of hybrid power and an electric range of up to 55km.
When charging at home, the CUPRA Formentor takes as little as 3 hours and 33 minutes when using a home wall box charger. Or up to 5 hours 48 minutes with a conventional plug.
Award-winning, ventilated Brembo brakes – finished in copper – offers exquisite control whilst matte black quad exhausts amplify the distinctive CUPRA engine roar for a thrilling and demanding on-road presence.
A new standard of safety.
With features such as Predictive Adaptive Cruise Control which uses GPS data and input from the front-mounted camera to actively adjust the vehicle speed depending on the road layout ahead and also Blind Spot Detection to alert drivers to another vehicle in their blind spot, the CUPRA Formentor is one of the most relaxing and safest vehicles on the road.
Exit Assist, which provides additional assistance when exiting the vehicle by sounding an audible alert if traffic is coming from behind and a Traffic Sign Recognition System are just two more driving aids that are available on the CUPRA Formentor.
