Land Rover has created a revolutionary way of building vehicles from aluminium – one that creates a chassis that is significantly lighter, stronger, and stiffer than its steel equivalent. Aluminium makes the vehicle great to drive on road and the stiffness also provides class-leading off-road capability.

INGENIUM ENGINES

Land Rover are developing a new range of 4-cylinder petrol engines*, providing up to 300PS. These petrol engines will deliver a 15% improvement in fuel economy over previous generation engines whilst the new twin-turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine delivers an outstanding 240PS and 500Nm of torque. *Ingenium Petrol engines availability will be subject to a further announcement.
