Introducing the Opel Mokka
The popular Mokka SUV has been totally re-imagined, re-designed and re-engineered for an electric future. While petrol and diesel models will be available, the Mokka will launch as an all-electric vehicle, the Mokka-e; with an excellent 323km range, superior charging, and tremendous performance.
It's got an all-new look too, debuting Opel's new 'brand face', which features the Opel Vizor module that elegantly frames the IntelliLux LED matrix headlights and LED daytime running lights.
It's extremely compact, slotting into the Opel SUV range as a smaller sibling to the already well-established Crossland and Grandland. It's actually shorter than the previous generation Mokka but manages to retain the same level of interior space and comfort.
Radical design choices, striking signature wheels and the opportunity to personalise the roof and bonnet make the Mokka a standout, unique looking car.
Equally as impressive as the compelling exterior design, is the uncluttered and comfortable interior that is sure to make every drive a pleasure. Heated seats, heated steering wheel and the driver's seat massage function ensure the driver is relaxed and ready for any journey.
Furthermore, you won't be disappointed when it comes to storage space as you can easily fit the family's luggage or a large load in the boot. Plus the rear seats easily fold down to a 40:60 split to provide you with additional boot space.
Technology and equipment levels will be at an all-time high in the Mokka, with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ integration combined with Opel Connect and voice control for supreme connectivity and convenience.
The all-new high-tech cockpit features a pure and simple design. Whilst the ability to charge your handset with the wireless charging feature, keeps the cabin tidy and free of wires.
A state-of-the-art Navi system not only guides you to your destination but also highlights local electric charging points on request.
Furthermore, a full suite of driver assistance features are available including Automatic Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist and Lane Departure Warning.
Powered by a next generation 50kWH lithium-ion battery, the all-electric Mokka-e boasts an impressive range of up to 323km. Charging at home or at a public charging station, you can charge up to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. Alternatively, you can gain a full charge overnight in 7.5 hours.
There's also a choice of three turbocharged engines fitted with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, two petrol and one diesel, offering low fuel consumption and superior performance. However, the punchier petrol version, with 128bhp, can also be configured with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
No matter which of the lively, yet economical, petrol engines you pick, expect fuel consumption of around 50mpg. The diesel engine is the most economical with a fuel consumption of up to 65.7mpg on the WLTP combined cycle.
Opel have updated the popular Mokka SUV and present a new, distinct exterior appearance with an abundance of advanced technology and safety systems. Featuring the Opel Vizor and Pure Panel, the Mokka is the first Opel model to showcase the future brand face and next generation fully digital cockpit.
