Every inch of the cabin has been meticulously crafted, with all controls and dials within easy reach, and a contemporary feel is added by thoughtful backlighting.
The C40 Recharge stands out for its technology suite, which is designed to connect, entertain and inform. Google Assistant, Google Maps and Google Play are all seamlessly integrated into this car for a uniquely helpful driving experience. Just say ‘Hey Google’ to get started, and access voice command navigation, and the ability to make calls and send text messages without taking your eyes off the road.
Built to stand out, the C40 Recharge steals the limelight with its streamlined silhouette and coupé-style contrasting roof. Pixel lights are designed to consider other road users, ensuring they’re not dazzled, while sizable alloys grip the road with ease. There are seven distinctive paint colours to choose from too, including Fjord Blue Metallic and Fusion Red, ensuring the C40 Recharge has a wide appeal. 
A highlight of Volvo’s standout Recharge collection, the new C40 is an all-electric model with an electric range of up to 507km. That means you can take on long journeys without having to stop en route to plug in. Volvo’s first pure electric crossover can also deliver 0-100km/h time of just 4.9 seconds, with instant torque making acceleration smooth and seamless. The one-pedal drive, meanwhile, keeps the experience simple, while responsive handling ensures manoeuvres are easy to complete.

Fast charging, less waiting: With rapid charging, in just over 30 minutes, the Volvo C40 has enough power to travel up to 290km, so you know you’ll always be able to go the distance.

360° parking view: With four cameras providing a 360° view and flank sensors increasing awareness of objects at the side of the car, our system can help you park confidently even in confined spaces.

Ease stress in busy traffic: Our blind spot information system (BLIS) provides active support when changing lanes. If there is a risk of collision with other vehicles in the adjacent lane, BLIS can subtly adjust steering, helping keep you, your car and your loved ones right where you mean to be.

Avoid collisions: Our intelligent safety assistance technology can help you detect and avoid other vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and large animals by first warning the driver then autobraking if the driver fails to react.
