Test Drive the Peugeot e-Expert

The e-Expert is the fully electric van that has all of the capabilities of any other mid-size commercial vehicle, even ones that are conventionally powered. With a large payload, a no-compromise cargo capacity and up to a 339km range, it's ready to take your business to the next environmentally friendly level.

Capacity and Loadspace

The first thing to note about the Boxer is that it can be tailored to your business needs. There are four versions available, which we've highlighted below:

  • Asphalt - More creature comforts that are essential if you spend a lot of time on the road

  • GRIP - Raised ride height, protective plating, all-season tyres, and clever computers make this variant a must-have for challenging terrains

  • S - The no-nonsense panel van that gets the job done

  • Professional - Adds in more desirable features for an excellent all-round experience

The endless configurations continue into the body styles and wheelbases too. There are three wheelbases to choose from (3m, 3.45m and 4.03m), which are accompanied by four different load lengths (L1, L2, L3 and L4). Topping it off are the three heights available (H1, H2 and H3).

Technology and Safety

Chances are you'll be carrying around a lot of expensive and heavy equipment, so ensuring you can enjoy the journey is important. There's a number of drivers aids available as a result, which include:

  • Lane Departure Warning System

  • Distance Alert System

  • Speed limit recognition and speed limiter

  • Automatic headlamp control

  • Rear parking sensors

A great deal of time and effort has been invested into the cabin, which makes it a great place to spend time. The 5-inch capacitive colour touchscreen boasts integrated satellite-navigation and is available with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Fleet Managers can subscribe to Free2Move Connect Fleet via the new Peugeot Connect Box. This allows them to monitor fuel consumption, servicing needs, and allows for the tracking of the vehicle in the event of theft.

Economy and Performance

Replacing the outgoing 2.0-litre diesel unit, Peugeot's latest 2.2-litre BlueHDi has been engineered in line with the latest Euro 6.2 emissions standards, resulting in a greener drive.

The latest generation engine is available in three power outputs, with each variant coming with auto start/stop as standard:

  • 2.2-litre BlueHDi (120 bhp and 221 lb/ft)
  • 2.2-litre BlueHDi (140 bhp and 250 lb/ft)
  • 2.2-litre BlueHDi (165 bhp and 273 lb/ft)

For the first time ever, the Boxer is available as an all-electric variant. Designed to emit no CO2 whatsoever, the electric Boxer is a game changer for businesses striving towards a greener future.

Test Drive the Peugeot Boxer

The Peugeot Boxer is up there among the class leaders with its amazing number of possible configurations, which can all be tailored that little bit more for the ultimate in practicality. The technology and efficient engines are really just the icing on a well-presented cake.
