We are now seeking a Group Trainee Parts Advisor to join our Motor Dealerships Division.
Job Summary: We are seeking a Group Trainee Parts Advisor to join our Aftersales Team. This is a rotational support role, working across dealerships within the Group to provide holiday cover and additional operational support where required.
With full training provided, this role offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience across multiple locations, working closely with Parts, Service, and Workshop teams to support the efficient supply and management of vehicle parts while delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Parts Enquiries: Assist with parts enquiries from workshop technicians, service advisors, trade, and retail customers.
- Parts Ordering: Support the accurate ordering, receipting, and issuing of parts using dealership systems.
- Stock Management: Assist with stock control, stock checks, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Workshop Coordination: Work closely with workshop and service teams to ensure parts availability supports timely vehicle repairs.
- Customer & Counter Service: Provide professional front and back counter support as required.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records for parts transactions, orders, and returns.
- Systems & Catalogues: Learn to use Electronic Parts Catalogues (EPC) and manufacturer systems effectively.
- Housekeeping & Safety: Maintain high standards of housekeeping and comply with Health & Safety guidelines.
- Deliveries & Logistics: Support the receipt, movement, and delivery of parts across Group locations when required.
- Team Support: Contribute positively to teamwork and customer satisfaction across departments and dealerships.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Minimum of Leaving Certificate or equivalent; further education or training in motor trade, logistics, or administration is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good computer literacy.
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude, with a strong willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to travel between dealership locations across the Group as required.
- Full, clean driving licence is essential.
