Johnson & Perrott Motor Group is celebrating a significant milestone following the successful launch of its Ford franchise at Mahon Point, Cork, having been named Best Marketing Team 2026 across the Ford Motor Company dealer network.
The award was presented at Ford’s recent Dealer Marketing Conference, held at the K Club in Co. Kildare, recognising excellence in marketing performance, creativity, and execution across the national dealer network.
The recognition marks a strong start for Johnson & Perrott, which officially welcomed Ford to its Mahon Point location in September 2025. The addition of Ford represented an important step for the group, strengthening its position in the Cork market and reintroducing a historic relationship with the brand — with Johnson & Perrott having previously sold Ford vehicles in Cork as far back as 1911.
Since launch, the Mahon Point site has been developed into a modern Ford destination, incorporating both passenger vehicles and a dedicated Ford Transit Centre to support business and commercial customers across the region.
Building Momentum from Day One
In the months following its appointment, Johnson & Perrott has focused on building a strong foundation for the Ford brand in Cork — combining a clear marketing strategy with a customer-focused approach across sales and aftersales.
A series of integrated campaigns, digital activity, and on-the-ground initiatives have helped establish early momentum, supported by a collaborative effort across marketing, sales, management, and support teams.
The Best Marketing Team award reflects not only the creativity and execution of campaigns, but also the alignment across the wider business in delivering a consistent and high-quality customer experience from the outset.

From initial customer enquiry through to vehicle handover and aftersales support, the focus has been on delivering a seamless, professional experience that reflects both the Ford brand and Johnson & Perrott’s long-standing reputation in Cork.
