After 39 years of exceptional service, we are proud to honour John Murphy as he begins his well-earned retirement. John is one of the most respected and experienced professionals in Ireland’s commercial fleet industry, having joined National Truck & Van Rental in September 1986 when the company was just six years in operation and based on Jones’ Road.

Since then, John has played a pivotal role in our growth — from those early days to the nationwide provider we are today, operating a fleet of more than 1,300 units from our Head Office in hashtag#Ballycoolin. As Sales Director, he has built long-standing customer partnerships, upheld the highest standards, and helped shape the values and work ethic that define our Sales team.John’s dedication, leadership and “customer-first” approach have left a lasting legacy across the organisation. His contribution has been central to National’s reputation as one of Ireland’s leading independent providers of tailored transport and fleet solutions.

As John steps into retirement, we extend our heartfelt thanks for his decades of loyalty and service, and we wish him every happiness in the years ahead. We also take this opportunity to welcome Darren Robinson, who will be stepping into John’s role as we continue to build on the foundations John helped create.
