Job Summary: Johnson & Perrott Motor Group is looking for a dedicated General Operative to support our growing team within our Mahon Ford Commercial division.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
As a General Operative, your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Collection & Delivery Scheduling: Safely transport vehicles to and from customers and external service providers.
- Valeting: Prepare vehicles according dealership requirements to meet our customers' expectations.
- Site Maintenance: Assist with managing vehicle parking arrangements and maintaining the general condition of the yard.
- Vehicle Preparation: Prepare vans for customer delivery by ensuring they are cleaned inside and out, fuelled and charged and fully ready for handover.
- External Supplier Deliveries: Deliver vehicles to external suppliers for additional work such as ply lining, tow bar installation, accessories, and other fit-outs, and collect them when completed.
- Site Support: Support other departments as required, including assisting with parts deliveries and vehicle collections for the passenger car operations.

Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:

- Safety Standards: Experience in working to high standards of Health and Safety procedures.
- Driver's License: A full clean driver's license is required.

- Professionalism: Maintain a high standard of personal presentation.
