Job Summary: We are looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Payroll & HR Administrator who will play a key role in supporting payroll processing, HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, reporting, and employer branding initiatives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a varied position, is eager to learn, and is interested in developing a career across both HR and payroll functions.
Responsibilities:
As a Payroll & HR Administrator, you will be trained to excel in the following areas:
Payroll & Compliance:
- Process weekly payrolls for all group divisions accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
- Maintain payroll records and handle payroll queries.
- Post monthly returns and payroll journals to our accounts system.
- Collaborate with finance department for payroll reconciliations.
Reporting & Analysis:
- Produce and distribute regular and ad-hoc reports for management.
- Analyse payroll data to provide insights.
Training and Development:
- Organise and coordinate health and safety training sessions.
- Develop and maintain training materials and videos.
Recruitment and Onboarding:
- Work closely with the HR Manager to support recruitment efforts.
- Post Job adverts on relevant job boards and providing candidate updates.
- Coordinate the onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Ensure all onboarding documentation is completed and returned.
- Manage and update the company’s career pages.
- Participate in job fairs and networking events to enhance the company’s visibility as an employer of choice.
HR Administration & Support:
- Assist in the planning and execution of staff events and initiatives.
- Provide general HR support and address general employee queries.
- Ensure employee records are up-to-date and confidential.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A Full Clean Drivers Licence is essential for this role.
- Strong attention to detail with administrative functions and presentation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- You must be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong understanding of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
- 2+ years of experience in HR / Payroll administration is an advantage.
- Third level qualification in HR or CIPD qualification in HR is also an advantage.
