We are now seeking a Warranty Administrator to join our Douglas team.
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warranty Administrator to join our team. As a Warranty Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and accurate submission of warranty claims, maintaining records, and providing support to various departments. If you have excellent administrative skills, a keen eye for details, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, we would like to hear from you.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited To:
- Ensure the timely and accurate submission of claims for warranty under the terms of the manufacturer's warranty procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions.
- Maintain an efficient filing/record keeping system to assist the audit process.
- Label and store old parts in good order.
- Liaise with the accounts department regarding outstanding claims.
- Undertake recall administration.
- Undertake used car warranty administration.
- Communicate warranty issues to all departments.
- Ensure the timely costing of claims onto our dealership management system.
- Work closely with service advisors, service foreman, and after sales manager to ensure adherence to all warranty procedures.
- Strive for high levels of customer satisfaction, both internal and external.
- Maintain a level of housekeeping required by management.
- Support company quality policy initiatives, including the quality management system.
- Maintain good working relationships with staff in other areas.
- Proactively contribute to departmental and inter-departmental teamwork and support the overall company mission and related initiatives.
- Providing backup support to the service desk when required.
Required Education, Skills, and Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with colleagues and customers.
- Experience working with Kerridge/ADP/CDK systems is an advantage.
- Strong PC skills, and technical background would be an advantage.
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage.
- Must have a full clean driver's license.
